Beware of Email Phishing Scams from Ministers

It has been brought to our attention by several BCA ministers that their emails were recently hacked or their members received emails from fake email addresses appearing as BCA Ministers. Please do not respond to these emails or send any information or money to these scammers.
You may have received an email that looked very authentic as if it came from one of our ministers.  The email was asking others to purchase gift cards.
PLEASE INFORM YOUR MEMBERS OF THIS LATEST EMAIL HACK/SCAM AND LET THEM KNOW THAT OUR MINISTERS WOULD NO ASK FOR SUCH A THING FROM THEIR MEMBERS.

I hope each of you are remaining safe and healthy during this unprecedented period of our lives. COVID-19 is turning our lives as we know it, upside down. Events which occur each year like clockwork is being affected. Obon season is soon approaching but this year, Seattle Betsuin’s Obon Odori is sadly canceled. But…not to despair as it is not completely cancelled. We are still planning to do virtual Bon Odori!!
