Annual Salmon Dinner Fundraiser on March 23!

The annual salmon dinner is upon us once again and the Betsuin asks that those who receive tickets make their best effort to sell them to friends and family who may be interested in a delicious salmon or pork dinner!

The salmon dinner is one of the biggest fundraisers for temple operations next to Bon Odori. Dues paying members will receive tickets and have the option of buying those tickets or selling them to others and purchasing more from the office. Tickets can be purchased online through the link below.

As always, the temple relies heavily on it’s members and asks that you try to sell as many tickets as possible. Tickets need to be returned to the office by March 16th so that a proper count can be taken for how much food needs to be purchased.

Additionally:

  • The temple will also be accepting baked good donations to be sold during the salmon dinner. Please clearly label goods that contain foods that have the potential to cause allergic reactions i.e. nuts, eggs, gluten etc…
  • Mason jars are also being collected as salad dressing holders if people have extra mason jars at home. Lids are appreciated but not required.
  • Volunteers needed! Sign up sheets will be posted outside of the dining room and will also be sent out to the various Betsuin organizations. If volunteers plan on handling food we ask that you get a food handlers permit from King County. Permits are good for two years and are also necessary for volunteering during Bon Odori. Information on how to do so provided here.

Thank you!
