11:20am – Tacoma Buddhist Temple Visitation
1:30pm – White River Buddhist Temple Visitation
3:30pm – Seattle Betsuin Buddhist Temple Visitation
5:30pm – Kikyoshiki Presentation Ceremony
6:30pm – Welcome Banquet Begins
7:45pm – Group Picture with Gomonshu-sama
8:00pm – Gomonshu-sama Departs from Seattle Betsuin
8:30pm – Welcome Banquet Ends
The 3:30pm service is open to all who would like to attend. Betsuin members will be welcoming Gomonshu-sama and his party at 3:00pm. If you plan to attend the service, please be at the temple at 3:00pm as the visitation service will begin immediately following their arrival.
For those receiving their Buddhist name, please be checked in and present for the ceremony by 5:10pm. To receive a Buddhist name, pre-registration must have been completed. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. Seating is reserved for family and close friends of the recipients. Seats are available on a first come first serve basis.
Banquet check-in will be open starting at 5:30pm. We ask that everyone is checked in and seated by 6:15pm at the LATEST. Pre-registration required for the BBQ (closed 8/29). BBQ attire is business casual.
